14" HDPE Swing Check Valve, Flanged—Durable and Reliable

Fluid control valve. Allows flow in only one direction and prevents backflow. The valve closing action is made by two springs that are connected to an articulated mechanism. This design allows a small force from the springs over the mechanism to hold a higher closing pressure of the disc.

IMPORTANT CHARACTERISTICS OF THE HDPE CHECK VALVE

* Valve body made of high-density polyethylene (HPDE).

* The closing mechanism is designed to close a moment before the flow is reversed. This action decreases the loud hammering sound of the water hammer. The flap cannot jam in the open position.

* All the working mechanisms and hardware are made of 316SS. Except 304SS springs.

* The closing contact of the disc is performed by HDPE and rubber, eliminating wear and tear.

* The disc is made of extra durable HDPE and will not drip or stick.
